When my editor finished reading my novel, "Talk to Me Dad!", her first question was, "When is the sequel coming out? " I tried to explain to her that the story had ended. I didn't know where it came from and that was it. Of course, she reminded me that there had to be more, and I was just as sure that there was no more. About a year and a half ago, as I was working on a non-fiction book, the first chapter of the sequel appeared in my mind. That is an understatement. All other projects stopped. As with my other works of fiction, as I write, I know not where the story is headed. As I write, the story flows, from where I do not know. As someone commented, "It must be exciting for you to write?" It is. It is like I am reading a new novel written by someone else. When the end comes, I am just as surprised as the new reader. If you haven't read "Talk to Me Dad!", it is available everywhere also in print and online. I only hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Pete Williams

To Write
Gary Peterson is an author who writes non-fiction. He also writes fiction under the pen name of Pete Williams. He is frequently asked, “Is there anything you haven’t done?” Although he worked in one profession for twenty years, which is necessary to qualify for a pension, the rest of his life has been wide and varied. Born in 1941 on a family farm, his first paying job was in agriculture. That first job expanded to include sales, being the founder and editor of a newspaper, truck driving, construction work, working with those with special needs, and many other experiences. Mathematics was a natural for him in school, and English was something he tolerated. Yet, he has completed six books with drafts of others ready for editing. At the age of 83, three of his books were written and published in the previous 12 months. Maybe he has found his calling. He says the following about his writing processes for his fiction books: “When I begin a story, I have no idea where it will lead to or even how it will end. As I write, I will only have an idea of where the next two or three chapters will go. I return to my writing wanting to know what will happen next, just as the reader wonders. The last book I wrote began with a title. I just let it flow from there.” Maybe he has found his calling.

Twenty years ago I began researching this book,
“The Atrocities Committed in the Name of God”.
The last thing I want to do is cause anyone to not believe in God. If you are content with your beliefs, more power to you. I am not writing this book to change your beliefs in God, but I am addressing religion. In specific, the Christian religion. The differences between the denominations of the Christian religion are almost enough to make one wonder if they worship the same God. They do have one thing in common, atrocities. Few are aware of these atrocities. They haven't stopped. As the Christians didn't realize what they were doing in the past, even now they are unaware of their violations of the Teachings of Jesus.
The Atrocities Committed in the Name of God is now available in digital form at https://books2read.com/u/brEEwz. Paperback at Amazon or Barnes and Noble
